Supported message types
Text, voice notes, and images : what Gravote can handle.
Text messages
All orders, price queries, and owner commands are handled via text. The bot understands English, Nigerian Pidgin, and abbreviations (e.g. "2 cartons indomie", "peak milk x3", "abeg send rice").
Voice notes
Customers can send voice notes to place orders. Gravote transcribes the audio and processes it as text. If the transcription fails, the bot asks the customer to type their order instead.
Images: customer receipts
Customers can send a screenshot of a bank transfer or Paystack receipt as proof of payment. Gravote reads the receipt and records the partial or full payment against their outstanding order.
Images: owner product photos
When you send add product to your own bot, the next image you send is treated as the product photo, not a receipt. The bot walks you through naming and pricing the product.
