Customising bot responses
How to give your bot a name, adjust its persona, and control what it says.
Bot name
In your dashboard, go to Settings → Business info → Bot name. Enter a first name (e.g. Ada, Tunde, Joy). Once saved, the bot introduces itself and signs off with this name in customer conversations.
Leave it blank to keep the bot anonymous . It will respond helpfully without a name.
Language
The bot automatically matches the customer's language. If a customer writes in Nigerian Pidgin, the bot replies in Pidgin. If they write in formal English, the bot replies formally. You don't need to configure this.
What can't be changed yet
Custom system prompts, tone settings, and per-product notes aren't in the dashboard yet. If you need specific bot behaviour , for example a strict no-credit policy or specific greeting text. contact support.
